i have never experienced it or heard of it before!! my youngest dog started first with a congested breathing... I thought it was maybe an allergy or he had something lodged, so i flushed his nasal pages and he sneezed a lot of green, thick mucous. As it started to clear (after about 5 days) my other 2 dogs developed the same symptoms, so it was obviously transmittable!! has Anyones dog ever experienced this?? as i always belived dogs didnt get colds and flu ????

Oblivion: weapon choice help?

First off, I was not a supporter of the Iraq war. But now Saddam is gone and the people there have a chance to have a free country. But I keep hearing muslims point out how many innocent muslims the American military has killed. They fail to mention the huge number of muslims that are killed by extremist groups such as Al-quaeda, Taliban, and the various sunni and Shiite insurgent groups. I don’t see how our military killing 10 terrorist suspects and the 10 family members that were traveling with them is worse than 20 totally innocent muslims being killed just for going to work, school, or a mosque. It seems to me they would pick the lesser of two evils, and rally behind our military to help bring a stable government to Iraq. Let me know what you think.

I'm a 15-year-old who enrolled in college a little after I turned 13. About a year ago I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety and didn't really care (naturally). I've been on meds for a while now, all kinds - prozac, paxil, wellbutrin, but nothing seems to alleviate the intense isolation I feel from my clmates and people my age. People whose intellect I appreciate don't seem to feel comfortable talking to me. I've only been able to ever go 9 weeks without my age coming up in conversation with a clmate, and then it's over. I can't go on dates. Socializing with regular people my age is nigh impossible. Whenever I do find someone to hang out with, I feel like they have absolutely nothing in common with me, and condescend so bitterly that I end up losing their company too. Having with girls my own age seems disgusting because they just can't match me, and having with older girls is out of the question. Since all relationships generally require , a relationship is also out of the question. I feel like if I fail to socialize AND fail to live up to my academic expectations for myself, I have no reason to live (but I'm honestly not considering suicide; I just get very, very depressed).

A physical is just them checking everything from your heart, lungs, weight stuff like that to learning about your families background history. I'm not a guy but as a guy you will probably have your "region" :) checked out but I don't think it will be anything more than the doctor grabbing your & telling you to cough so he can check it out. His is not going to stick anything up your rear unless your surgery has something to do with that. They don't usually do prostate exams until males reach a certain age, not sure what it is off the top of my head. If you are nervous, call the office and ask the nurse what they are all going to do. I wouldn't worry about getting anything up the , like I said, unless your surgery has something to do with that area. Good Luck!

Strange and lengthy medical question. Any advice would be very helpful...?

Hi everyone, ever since I met my husband he has had digestive troubles such as painful bowel movements, diarrhea, and abdominal cramping...particularly first thing in the morning. It seems like every time we are getting convinced he needs medical intervention, the symptoms will receed dramatically for a month or two, only to suddenly reappear. So this time I wasnt surprised when he was having painful bowel movements (nothing new there) but it has been like six days now and all his symptoms have been getting worse and worse. Where we stand now is he was having rectal bleeding, diarrhea, severe abdominal (gas) pain, and a high fever with occasional vomitting. We took him to the ER and they gave him an anti-nausea perscription as well as hydrocodone. None of that is really helping though. Currently his bleeding and cramps have subsided alot, but now he is in the bathroom literally about 50% of the day throwing up. Usually he is having dry heaves because he has only eaten like four pieces

It has been proven over and over again that the death penalty does not deter crime. It is just a bizarre ritual that we do to make ourselves feel better about ourselves. We sacrifice the blood of some supposed criminal to make ourselves feel better about ourselves as a people. I knwo what you mean. Its almost alien. The final product is cute but yes pregnancy is not very cool most of the time, Its a miracle yes but its also weird. I've been feeling a little off lately. Very tired and weak, lightheaded, low grade fever, high anxiety...?

Things like that. Yesterday, I was exercising and felt so out of it so I cut my workout short. A few hours later I felt some anxiety, so I took some pion flower drops. A little after that I was watching Dr. Oz and the screen started to become fuzzy. So I jumped up in panic and ran to the bathroom. As I ran to the bathroom i realized that the tip of my tongue was numb and my heart was beating 100 miles an hour. When I looked in the mirror my bottom lip was extremely white and so was my tongue. After hyperventilating for about two minuets I started getting my kids ready to head to the doctors. The whole time I felt like I was going to p out. (You know when you get that tingly feeling in your head and body) So I finally made it to the doctors and he had an ekg done and all it showed was that my heart was racing a bit. My pulse was up and my blood pressure was up. I have a few more tests to do and hes going to have a 24 hour ekg hooked up to me. The doctor gave me some metoprolol tart 25mgs. Since I've been home I've been feeling a little nauseous and tired and I had a temp last night of probably 99.9. In the beginng of the night I couldn't really sleep, felt anxious and had chills. I'm a little better now, very tired and a little down and a very little light headed. Also I've been feeling nauseous on and off and yesterday I also felt nauseous. Now I'm still in the process of checking if I have kidney stones for sure. Not sure if that will help any, but what I'm asking is what you guys think about this. Any diagnosis you can think of, any comments or advice??

Ok, so I was renting from a private owner, we lived in one of his apartments for a year and at the end of the lease we told him we were moving because he we needed more room (it was 4 people sharing a 3 bed) and our neighbors sucked, he told us we were such good tenant he hated to see us go and he had a house for rent (woo hoo a 5 bedroom 2 bath for the same price with a backyard) so we jumped on the offer and moved in. We never did a final walk thru at the apartment and the $1200 security deposit just rolled over to the house (first mistake), we never did an initial walk thru of the house (second mistake.) The house was filthy on arrival, a ton of repairs had just been and there was dust and supplies, dirt wood/paint chipping, the city even delayed our move in because the house wasnt up to code yet! Anyway 1 week before our lease was up, our landlord hired a property management company, they did the final walk thru with us and kept our entire deposit. All they sent us " Cleaning Charges: $771.98 Painting Charges: $303.02 Mini Blind Replacement: $125.00. WTF we left this house in better condition than we got it in, why was the entire house painted? We were there was 12 months and the walls were painted new when we move in, and how on earth do they come up 771 in cleaning? What are my options here, we are in california. Any help would be great!

Now I would like honest opinions. I don't need to hear people who are so insanely biased they can't have an intelligent discussion freaking out. (The "Prolife" people who literally can't look at things from another prospective. And no I'm not referring to the Prolife people who can have an intelligent debate and at least consider the other side, I mean the ones that flip out anytime the word "Abortion" is brought up and call it murder, evil, immoral etc. [If those are your opinions back it up, and use more than a verse from the bible to do it.]) Ok, now that that's over time for the nitty gritty. I am male, and no I don't have a girl pregnant right now, this is simply a question that I came to from experiences with friends. Since I am a guy I do understand I can never see this from the womens perspective completely. Now, while doing some browsing I came across a similar question to this where a young man was asking how to convince his girlfriend to have an abortion. He stated she was being selfish etc. Instantly everyone in the community bashed him, and called him selfish etc. Now this could be true, he could only be thinking about himself. What about the other side though? I understand the child is in the woman's body, and that's the reason abortion is legal in the first place, because the woman may choose what to do with her own body. However, what if the kid who posted the question wasn't being selfish? Say they are both 18, they are ready to go to college and begin their lives. They have no help from their parents and don't have jobs. Now I understand it is possible to do this on your own, at 18, without a job. But, more than likely the kid will grow up in poverty. Oh wait, forgot to mention, the mom and dad aren't together. So now the child is growing up in poverty without having the support of both parents. Now there's also adoption as an option. Well, I know adoption can be wonderful for many parents and children alike but, who's to say the child doesn't grow up feeling like they weren't wanted? Like they were abandoned? What if the father of the child in question truly was thinking about the child, and how it might be better if the child never came into existance? Now on the other hand say the mother who wants to keep the kid only wants the child to secure a relationship with the father. The father doesn't want to be with her and she wants the kid simply to keep the father in her life. She is doing it for selfish reasons, and many people are saying it's the father who is being selfish?! In this situation it is my opinion that the father is perfectly right in trying to push abortion. Yeah it's living inside the mom, and yeah it's a hard choice for her, but did anyone ever consider that the father saying "have an abortion" has a lot going on too? I read a comment to that guy who asked abut convincing his girlfriend to have an abortion that said "The woman has to deal with it her whole life the man can just walk away from it!" Guess what, that's complete bull crap. Believe it or not guys have emotions too, and I think the majority of would be fathers who want to have an abortion probably deal with it their entire lives just as much as a woman would. Should I get a road bike or street bike?

I am going to school at radford university in virginia. Help! I screwed up melting chocolate - How do I fix it?

You absolutely don't have to pay for it- as long as you noted it, took pictures or videos before moving in, and notified the landlord to prove that it was pre-existing damage. I'm not sure what groups, specifically, could help with this, but I bet that if you call the police department or Better Business Bureau, they can direct you to the appropriate place. I would suggest getting out of that place as soon as possible- they're doing their best to break the law with you. You could definitely win a case in small claims court if you already paid and have evidence that the damage was pre-existing (said photos or videos with dates, etc.).

How can I not put weight back on after Atkins diet?

Purple haze or ultra violet manic panic on unbleached hair?

I dyed my hair a really dark brown, almost black about a month and a half ago, and now it's faded to about a light reddish brown. I want to dye my hair purple, but I'm not sure if I should use Purple Haze or Ultra Violet Manic Panic. Which would show up better? Silent Treatment. Please help.?

A friend of mine (male) often gets angry over things I can't understand and he leaves me stunned. I can say something very innocently and he suddenly just explodes with anger. He has given me the silent treatment before and it has lasted up to nine days! This time though, I corrected him on something or reminded him of something I should say and he suddenly said "Dont ever contact me again!" It's been 29 days. He will not acknowledge me. I've tried to talk to him and even apologized and asked forgiveness for what ever it is I've done. He just ignores me. Won't answer calls, IMs, emails- nothing. I am so depressed over this I can't eat and I'm having bad dreams...I just don't know what it means or why people do this to each other. I am so hurt. Is there anyone who can give me some advice? I know that phosphates can be good for plants to a degree. At my house, a percentage of the wastewater from the washing machine is collected in a bucket. Why does my kitten pee on fleece blankets?

I adopted a kitten that's about 5 months old from the local animal shelter (he was neutered there). After living with me for 2 weeks without accidents, he peed on a blanket I had over me while laying on the couch. A few days later, after washing the blanket, he did it again. Exactly same scenario, same blanket. Today I found out that he had also been peeing on a fleece blanket that was in his bed. He has only peed on these two blankets, which are both fleece. However, I have other fleece blankets that he hasn't peed on. What is his problem? What can I do to get him to stop?
