Scientists and geologists say that every form of life on Earth had been already destroyed TWICE before?

It is possible that early life was present when the "Moon forming event" occurred, this would have effectively sterilized the planet. This was very early in the formation of the solar system and planets. Other than that, I know of no evidence when ALL life was destroyed on Earth. M extinctions have occurred but that does not mean all life.
